Working from Within Conservation Funding

For six years, I worked in communications at the Mexican Fund for the Conservation of Nature (FMCN), a non-profit financing conservation projects across Mexico. I consolidated the organization's brand identity, ensuring all internal and external materials aligned with brand standards. Key projects included creating FMCN's 30th anniversary logo, supervising and designing materials for over 25 conservation projects, and developing event branding such as the 21st Conference of the Latin American and Caribbean Network of Environmental Funds (RedLAC). This experience gave me valuable insight into both sides of the client-consultant relationship, understanding organizational needs from the inside while developing the strategic thinking essential for effective environmental communications.
